Congratulates Dr Ambedkar
Buddhism has embraced people with love who came out of Hinduism in larger groups after disheartened with heartless practices.
Never before in the history there was such an event of mass religious conversion happened where 3 lakhs people including men, women , children. A journalist who reported the event described “This has never happened in any part of the world but here”.
He described it was a ocean of people in the ground where the event happened which was vast and area of 1 million square feet.
Religious conversion to Buddhism is not new to the country and it’s happening not only recently but since ancient times. However it is a shock to the protectors of Hinduism that almost 3 lakh people converted to Buddhism on the same day.
People who have been converted before had very different reasons from money to power. But conversion of Dr Ambedkar along with 3 lakh people cannot be considered in such list.
Dr Ambedkar learned the essence of Hinduism well. There are no books or veda agama sastras which he has not learned. He is an legal expert who has written the constitution of India. So we cannot consider or brush aside this as a normal conversion like the common who converted after they hate Hinduism.
He prescribed 22 vows to his followers:
I shall have no faith in Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara, nor shall I worship them.
I shall have no faith in Rama and Krishna, who are believed to be incarnation of God, nor shall I worship them.
I shall have no faith in Gauri, Ganapati and other gods and goddesses of Hindus, nor shall I worship them.
I do not believe in the incarnation of God.
I do not and shall not believe that Lord Buddha was the incarnation of Vishnu. I believe this to be sheer madness and false propaganda.
I shall not perform Shraddha nor shall I give pind.
I shall not act in a manner violating the principles and teachings of the Buddha.
I shall not allow any ceremonies to be performed by Brahmins.
I shall believe in the equality of man.
I shall endeavour to establish equality.
I shall follow the Noble Eightfold Path of the Buddha.
I shall follow the ten paramitas prescribed by the Buddha.
I shall have compassion and loving-kindness for all living beings and protect them.
I shall not steal.
I shall not tell lies.
I shall not commit carnal sins.
I shall not take intoxicants like liquor, drugs, etc.(The previous four proscriptive vows [#13–17] are from the Five Precepts.)
I shall endeavour to follow the Noble Eightfold Path and practice compassion and loving-kindness in everyday life.
I renounce Hinduism, which disfavors humanity and impedes the advancement and development of humanity because it is based on inequality, and adopt Buddhism as my religion.
I firmly believe the Dhamma of the Buddha is the only true religion.
I consider that I have taken a new birth. (Alternately, "I believe that by adopting Buddhism I am having a re-birth.")

I solemnly declare and affirm that I shall hereafter lead my life according to the teachings of Buddha's Dhamma.
His wows clearly explains the essence of Hinduism and morals of Buddhism.
This conversion has irritated the protectors of hinduism rather than inducing the thoughts to consider why. Congress supporters and ruling class mocking Dr Ambedkar who is the central figure of this mass conversion as usual and satisfying their peace of mind. They do the propaganda that this historical event as a normal event. They would be disappointed whatever they do to belittle this mass conversion. That’s their normal behaviour. Would leopards accept to change their dots on their skin?.
Nevertheless people wouldn’t care about their words and reduce the respect given to the mass conversion. Dr Ambedkar’s religious conversion to Buddhism wouldn’t fail to trigger the thoughts of people of the world.
Scholars among world countries would definitely question why Dr Ambedkar along with 3 lakh people converted to Buddhism. Constitution which legally abolishes untouchability wouldn’t answer the questions.
Also the arguments put forth by Kanchi Kamakoti Peedam that foreigners spent 90 million rupees for the mass conversion to destroy the hinduism in the indian sub continet would not answer the question either.
People of the world would decide incorrigible practice of untouchability is the reason for mass conversion in the country ruled by Jawaharlal Nehru who spoke that he committed to resolve the peace among world countries. Anything by Nehru or his Panchasheela agreement , constitutional arguments , vilification of national media and magazines are not useful.
There may be responsibilities among congress ruling class to find out the root cause why people of the country forced to exit Hinduism and convert to Buddhism or they may think it’s not their responsibility too. However Head of Kanchi Kamakoti Mut cannot take such a similar stand. He lives and believes in solely Hinduism to to earn money and respect.
The intervention by Kanchi Shankaracharya is merely a to step to counter the decline in his revenue and respect nothing else. or Did he ever want to reform hinduism to retain the people if not the making others to convert to Hinduism.
Did he ever spent lakhs leave aside crores to improve livelihood of crores of depressed class people of this country or can he show the details of his works?. but now foul cries that 9 crores being spent by foreigners to convert people from hinduism to Buddhism.
Islam is imported from Arabia however muslim people now were not migrants but aborigin and converted to Islam at some point in time. We have to find the fair and logical reason in the Hinduism why few hundreds at the time of entry become 90 millions. Similarly those who mock Dr Ambedkar have to find out why and how Christianity have spread here in this country.
Not only Dr Ambedkar but lakhs and lakhs are forced to convert such is the state of the hinduism.
It is inevitable that people like Dr Ambedkar leave and wouldn’t accept it to stay in hinduism because people would leave the palace even if built with gold but houses deadly diseases and germs like untouchability, discrimination by birth , social hierarchy.
Dr Ambedkar decision to convert Buddhism deserves appreciation by all wise and learned.
